REVIEW: NEW PRODUCTS from COLOURPOP

Another post, another review. This time I will be writing about some new products from COLOURPOP. They might not be new to you but they are new to me.

Colourpop has made FREE WORLWIDE SHIPPING recently and I took the chance to add new products to my collection.

As you see, I will have a lot to talk about. So, let's start!

Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer

What does the brand says:

- Lightweight

- Hydrating primer that refreshes and preps skin to create a smooth canvas for makeup.

Indeed, is it lightweight and refreshing. The makeup lasted for a reasonable time. I am not sure if it was the primer or not. However, I have a HUGE problem with it: it smells like COCONUT and I HATE coconut. It lingers for a few minutes and I was able to deal with it but I do not think I would want to buy it again.

What does the brand says:
- lightweight,
- full coverage concealer
- crease-proof
- natural matte finish
- No filter needed

The concealer seems lighter in the package that it really is. As you can see, it does match my skin tone and I am not that light. Having said that, can I just say that I love this concealer? It does match perfectly my skin tone and gives the coverage that I need. I can even leave home without any other makeup product and I will be happy with that.

What does the brand says:
- Natural, healthy looking skin
- Skin-perfecting
- Medium-buildable coverage

Unlike the concealer, I did not choose the right shade. It is a little bit dark for my skin tone right now. In the Summer when I will be more tanned, this shade would suit me best.
It is a natural and lightweight foundation and it has a very good coverage. None of my red spots can be seen through the foundation. However, it is a little too matte for me. I prefer a satin finish.
Overall, I can say that is a good foundation.

What does the brand says:
- Ultra-fine brush tip liquid eyeliner
- Intense pigmentation and precision in one swipe.
- Super long wearing formula
- Doesn’t transfer or smudge
- Flexible tip creates the easiest, smoothest cat eye ever

As you can see, I am not the best person in the world to draw eyeliner. I might be in the bottom 10 😂.
Anyway, I enjoyed this eyeliner. It has a brush tip that is very, very thin. I like it; it is almost mistake proof for me. Like Colourpop says, it has intense pigmentation and it lasts forever (well, until I removed my makeup).

What does the brand says:
reduces shine
- blurs imperfections

As you can see, this compact powder has removed all the shine that was previously in my face. It did blurred a little bit but the foundation had already did a pretty good job.
I ordered the medium shade because all the other seemed to be very dark or very light. In the end, I will have to save the powder for Summer time because it is too dark for me right now.
Powders are those kind of product that I do not really care in makeup. Sometimes they can really make a difference and other times they are just an extra step in makeup. I often forget to put powder in my face.
Having said that, I think it is a good powder.

What does the brand says:
- Gives your natural lashes a boost
- “your lashes, but better”
- smudge-proof
- clump-free
- easy-to-remove formula
- evenly coats and lifts lashes to look their best
soft and naturally defined lashes

When Colourpop says act natural, it is really what they meant. This mascara is very natural, it is like they say, "your lashes but better". It does not smudge or even clump in the lashes. It gives a natural length and definition to the lashes. And that is the main reason I like it.

That's all, folks!

And you? Have you ever tried any of these products?

See you soon!
